Suturing and BLSS Workshop

 WORKSHOP ON SUTURING

Dr Antony Arvind, Plastic Surgeon, spent a couple of weeks at the RHC in July 23. His son Tarun interned with us. Anto is Dr Kamakshi's batchmate from Madras Medical College.
Anto had brought with him practice suture kits.

Medical Staff

A detailed workshop, spanning 5 days was held for Doctors and Nurses. The workshop was just awesome. It really helped the Medial staff hone their skills. Suturing is not something which is taught in Medical / Nursing School. It's a skill one picks up on the way.

EXPOSURE TO Class 11 & 12 SCIENCE STUDENTS OF Rishi Valley School

An initiative of the Biology Teachers at Rishi Valley, students spent two hours with the kits. Needless to say, they thoroughly enjoyed this hands-on exposure.

BLS WORKSHOP

Anto had brought along a practice mannequin. His on Tarun, who is a certified BLS instructor taught the staff the basics of BLS.
This was done daily for a week in the afternoons.
Again, a much-needed skill which is not taught well enough.

BLS CONTINUING TRAINING

Chokalingam (ISC 88) and his wife Dr Uma (an intensivist) donated a mannequin for training on BLS. Really great stuff.
Every week the nurses and other staff are put through their paces.

My husband was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) four years ago. For over two years, we relied on prescription medications and therapies, but unfortunately, his symptoms continued to worsen. His memory, coordination, and overall strength declined, and everyday life became increasingly difficult.Last year, out of desperation and hope, we decided to try an herbal treatment program from NaturePath Herbal Clinic. Honestly, we were skeptical at first, but within a few months of starting the treatment, we began to notice real changes. His alertness improved, his movements became steadier, and he regained a surprising amount of energy and clarity.
Incredibly, he also regained much of his independence and confidence. It’s been a life-changing experience he feels more like himself again, better than he had in years. If you or a loved one is struggling with CJD, I truly recommend looking into their natural approach.
